Hey fellow creatives! We all have our favorite apps. What are your top and why? They dont have to be arts-related.

What is creativity-- an epic flow an exhale of insight a thought connecting folks a seed of thought nurtured in painted soil?

I'll be looking for it jellybean!
I'm working on a cardboardbox drawer for my ICADs and altered rolodex cards. I got the idea and the materials together but I cannot seem to get started. I've been creatively stalled, LOL!

milquetoast, I don't think we had Bocskay together but I think you had her the hour before me. LOL. Wow, I didn't know you discovered your ability to draw at age 6 lol.
I had kept a journal for awhile but started writing a lot of poetry in sewing class, LOL!

Emily Dickinson, Edgar Allen Poe, Joy Harjo, Jodi Piccoult and Stephen King. These are my favorite authors. I think things would be interesting because of the different genres and themes.

Let's see where this story will take us and how long it will stretch, shall we... One member writes a few sentences (2-5 is good). Another member replies and adds a few more lines to the above story and it keeps going and going....
Rita was tired after a long day's work. She dragged her feet through the parking garage toward her car, while jangling for her keys in her purse. As she approached her car the shadows began to grow darker in the garage and Rita felt an erie nausea come over her.

I should try that. The writing app on my phone (Diario) should help with scheduling writing time. It usually gives a notification that it's time to write based on the time you set!

When I am really busy I use my creative time as a way to motivated to stay focused especially when I have to meet a deadline for school or something like that. For example: I don't work on an arts project until I get a portion of an essay written.
I don't have a specific time set for my creative endeavors.

Actually that was a funny fictional account of your poetic endeavor. Though I pursue more than one creative endeavor, I only have maybe two little tales of how they bega.n. I began writing poetry in my sewing class my freshman year of high school. I was initially eager to learn how t sew but after two weeks of dong nothing but taking notes, my enthusiasm just weathered away. I spent much of 5th hour (I think it was 5th hour--LOL!) writing in my orange Tigger journal.. I discovered digitalscrapbooking by accident. I was looking for paper tags/tab (projects) online. I managed to stumble on this awesome community of digi-scrapbookers where I found some wonderful freebies and resources to begin the journey of digital memory making. In August I was able to participate in a design mentorship the founder/designer was implementing. Our main "assignment" was to complete a digi-scrapbooking kit with 12 papers and 30 elements. I learned a great deal. I found some great techniques on making digital tags and seamless patterned paper. I also began to feel more confident with the designing aspect of digiscrapbooking. I wanted to have a few of my own elements on my pages as well as my own pictures.
